THE INTERNATIONAL MEDITERRANEAN GAGE BIRDS SHOW
Dear Friends,
To plan an international show that includes Mediterranean countries, representatives from Greece, Malta, Turkey and COM (Carlos Ramoa) have met on 22-23-24 of July in Istanbul, Turkey. At this meeting, it has been decided that a The Mediterranean International Show will be organized in the 2nd week of November every year starting on 2012.
The below listed protocol points are accepted by the representatives of the countries that were in the above mentioned meeting and representatives of Bulgaria, who were unable to join the meeting but were later informed. The protocol points are binding to all of the founding nations.

1 ) The nations, which accepted this protocol are Bulgaria, Greece, Malta and Turkey
2 ) The competitions will be held in the 2nd week of November every year with these founding nations. The place of the competition will each year change turn based among the founders.
3 ) All countries, which has a coast to the Mediterranean Sea can join to the competition but only the above mentioned four nations can organize. In all related paperwork, the flags of these four countries will be used.
4 ) If a country, which has a coast to the Mediterranean Sea wants to organize the competition, all of the above mentioned four countries have to agree on allowing the participant country to organize.
5 ) First four years of the competition are planned as:
a ) Turkey 7,8,9,10,11 - November 2012
b ) Greece 6,7,8,9,10 - November 2013
c ) Malta 5,6,7,8,9 - November 2014
d ) Bulgaria 4,5,6,7,8 - November 2015
6 ) Every year the four founding nations will meet. In this meeting, general topics and suggestions will be discussed. If the organizing nation for the following year can not hold the organization, the participants of the meeting will be notified and the next nation in the list will take over the organization.
7 ) The entering of the birds to the competition will start 45 days prior to the competition and end 15 days prior the competition start date. The organizing nation will provide the exact dates beforehand. (The entering dates for the 1st competition in Turkey are between 26/09/2012 - 26/10/2012)
8 ) All COM category birds can joing the competition.
9 ) The primary referees of the competition has to be COM-OMJ referees. Secondary referees can be local.
10 ) The referees will be paid according to the COM specifications. During the refereeing process, food, lodging, travel fees etc. will be paid by the host.
11 ) Each year 5 managers from the founding countries will join the competition as guests and their costs will be paid by the host. (Travel costs are self-paid)
12 ) The number of conveyors (bird carriers) that will join the competition is as follows:
a ) 1 person for 100 birds
b ) 2 people for 300 birds
c ) 3 people for 500 birds
d ) 4 people for 700 birds
e ) 5 people for 1000 birds
The costs for conveyors (bird carriers) will be paid by the host. (Travel costs are self-paid)
13 ) A gala night will be prepared on the Saturday night of the competition. The national anthems of the participating nations will be performed and their flags will be present.
14 ) The entrance fee for gala night is 20 Euros and each country will have their own table.
15 ) Entrance fee for each bird is 4 Euros
16 ) Entrance fee at the door per person is 3 Euros
17 ) The competition catalog fee is 6 Euros, every participant has to purchase at least one catalog. (The catalogs will be on A4 paper)
18 ) The birds that are in the top three will be awarded with medals and certificates.
19 ) Every participant will be awarded with participation certificate.
20 ) This protocol will once again be reviewed by the founding nations and will be sent to COM.
21 ) COM will turn this protocol into a contract and after the signature of all founding nature, it will be in place and binding.
